1. Plans & Pricing

Subscription Plans & Pricing

FlightPal offers introductory subscription plans. Each plan provides full access to the FlightPal program during the introductory period and then automatically converts to a recurring monthly subscription at the standard renewal rate.

How it works:

You select an introductory plan at checkout. The introductory price and your recurring monthly renewal rate are displayed clearly on the checkout page and confirmed in your purchase receipt email. After your introductory period ends, your subscription automatically renews at the monthly rate shown at checkout unless you cancel.

All plans include the same features.

The only difference between plans is the introductory price as displayed at checkout. After your introductory period, all plans renew at the same standard monthly rate shown at checkout and confirmed in your purchase receipt. The introductory price is a one-time promotional rate for your first billing period only.

All prices are in US dollars (or local currency equivalent where applicable) and include applicable taxes where required by law. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. See Section 6.


2. Auto-Renewal

How Auto-Renewal Works

  • Your introductory period begins on the date of your first payment.
  • When your introductory period ends, your subscription automatically renews monthly at the rate displayed at checkout and confirmed in your purchase receipt unless you cancel beforehand.
  • Your payment method on file will be charged automatically at the start of each new billing cycle.
  • You will receive a reminder email at least 3 days before your first renewal to give you time to cancel if you choose.
  • Subsequent monthly renewals will be charged on the same calendar day each month (e.g., if your first renewal is March 8, the next is April 8).

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that your subscription will automatically renew and that you authorize FlightPal to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. This is required by the FTC's Negative Option Rule and California's Automatic Renewal Law.


3. Billing

Billing & Payment

FlightPal uses Stripe to process all payments securely. Your payment details are encrypted and never stored directly on FlightPal's servers.

  • We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover).
  • Your first charge (the introductory price) occurs immediately at checkout.
  • Renewal charges occur automatically at the start of each new billing period.
  • You will receive an email receipt after every successful charge.
  • If a payment fails, we will retry your card and notify you by email. Continued payment failure may result in suspension of access until payment is resolved.

Keep your payment method up to date.

If your card on file is declined at renewal, you may lose access to FlightPal until payment is resolved. Update your payment method anytime by emailing support@tryflightpal.com or using the billing portal link in your confirmation email.


4. Cancellation

How to Cancel Your Subscription

You may cancel your FlightPal subscription at any time. Per the FTC's Click-to-Cancel Rule, cancellation is designed to be straightforward — no phone calls required.

    Use the subject line "Cancel Subscription" and include the email address on your account. We'll process your cancellation within 1 business day and send you a confirmation.

    Or use the billing portal

    A link to your personal billing portal is included in every payment receipt email. You can cancel directly from there without contacting us.

Cancel before your renewal date to avoid being charged.

We recommend cancelling at least 24 hours before your renewal date to ensure it is processed in time. Your renewal date is shown in your original subscription confirmation email and in your billing portal.

Once your cancellation is confirmed, you will receive a cancellation confirmation email. Save this for your records. If you do not receive a confirmation within 2 business days, please contact us again — we want to make sure every cancellation request is handled.


5. After Cancellation

What Happens After You Cancel

  • Your access to FlightPal continues through the end of your current paid billing period.
  • You will not be charged again after your cancellation is confirmed.
  • Your account data and progress are retained for 90 days after cancellation, after which they may be deleted.
  • You may resubscribe at any time, though introductory pricing may not be available to returning subscribers.

No partial refunds for unused time.

Cancellation stops future charges but does not entitle you to a prorated refund for the remainder of your current billing period. For refunds on your initial purchase, please see our Refund Policy.


6. Pricing & Plan Changes

Changes to Pricing or Plans

FlightPal reserves the right to modify subscription pricing and plan features at any time. For changes that affect your existing subscription:

  • We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect on your account.
  • Continued use of FlightPal after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.
  • If you do not agree to a pricing change, you may cancel before the effective date with no additional charge.

FlightPal may also update these Subscription Terms at any time. We will notify you by email of material changes. Continued use of the service after the updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance.


7. Refunds

Refund Policy Summary

FlightPal offers a 14-day satisfaction guarantee on your initial introductory purchase only. If you are not satisfied within 14 calendar days of your first payment, you may request a full refund of your initial charge.

Renewal charges are non-refundable once processed.

After your introductory period ends and your subscription renews at the then-current standard monthly rate (as shown at checkout and confirmed in your purchase receipt), renewal charges are final and non-refundable. To avoid a renewal charge, you must cancel your subscription before your renewal date. We send you a reminder email at least 3 days before your first renewal to give you time to cancel if you choose.

8. California Residents

Additional Disclosures for California Residents

If you are a California resident, the following additional disclosures apply under the California Automatic Renewal Law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §§ 17600–17606):

  • Automatic Renewal Offer Terms: Unless you cancel, your FlightPal subscription will automatically renew at the monthly rate shown at checkout and in your purchase confirmation after your introductory period. Your credit or debit card will be charged unless you cancel prior to the renewal date.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription by emailing support@tryflightpal.com or through your billing portal, which is accessible via the link in your receipt email.
  • Refund on Cancellation: If you cancel and have been charged for a renewal you did not intend, please contact us. We will evaluate your request on a case-by-case basis consistent with our Refund Policy and applicable law.
  • Acknowledgment: By purchasing a FlightPal subscription, you acknowledge that your subscription contains an automatic renewal feature as described above, and you affirmatively consent to these terms.

9. UK & EU Residents

Additional Rights for UK & EU Users

If you are located in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, the following applies in addition to the terms above:

  • Right of Withdrawal: Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. However, by beginning to use the FlightPal program (accessing content, starting the quiz, etc.), you expressly consent to the immediate provision of digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once access to the content has begun. This is in accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Section 36 of the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  • Unused Content: If you have not yet accessed any FlightPal content, you may exercise your statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days of purchase by emailing support@tryflightpal.com.
  • Renewal Charges: The statutory right of withdrawal applies to the initial contract only. Renewal charges are not subject to a new cooling-off period. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.
  • Consumer Rights: Nothing in these Subscription Terms is intended to limit or exclude any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence. Where your local consumer protection laws provide greater protection, those rights prevail.

Checkout requirement for EU/UK users:

At checkout, you will be asked to confirm that you wish to begin accessing FlightPal content immediately and that you understand this waives your statutory right of withdrawal. This consent is required before we can provide you with access to the service.
