FlightPal is designed to help you overcome your fear of flying using evidence-based behavioral techniques. We stand behind what we've built. If it's not working for you in the first two weeks, we don't want your money.

This policy explains what we refund, what we don't, and exactly how to get your money back if you need it.


What's Covered

Eligible for a Refund

Your initial purchase is refundable within 14 days.

If you purchased any FlightPal introductory plan and you're within 14 calendar days of that original transaction date, you can request a full refund of your initial charge.

  • โœ“Any charge made in clear billing error (duplicate charge, wrong amount)
  • โœ“Any unauthorized charge you did not make

What's Not Covered

Not Eligible for a Refund

โš ๏ธ Renewal charges are non-refundable once processed.

After your introductory period ends, your subscription automatically renews at the then-current standard monthly rate (as shown at checkout and in your purchase confirmation email). All renewal charges are final and non-refundable once your payment method has been charged. This applies to every renewal โ€” including your first renewal after the introductory period. To avoid any renewal charge, you must cancel before your renewal date. We send a reminder email at least 3 days before your first renewal. See our Subscription Terms for cancellation instructions.

  • โœ—Monthly renewal charges once processed (including your first renewal at the then-current standard monthly rate)
  • โœ—Refund requests submitted more than 14 days after initial purchase
  • โœ—Accounts with evidence of abuse (multiple refund requests across accounts)
  • โœ—Dissatisfaction with results after the 14-day window has passed
  • โœ—Requests to refund the difference between introductory and renewal pricing

Process

How to Request a Refund

We keep this simple. No lengthy forms, no phone calls. Just email us.

    Use the subject line "Refund Request" and include the email address linked to your FlightPal account and your purchase date.

    We'll confirm within 1โ€“2 business days

    Our team will verify your purchase date and confirm eligibility. If you're within the 14-day window, your refund is approved automatically.

    Refund processed within 5โ€“10 business days

    Funds are returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your card issuer โ€” most refunds appear within 3โ€“5 business days.

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank.

We process all valid refund requests quickly. Filing a chargeback before contacting us may delay your resolution and could affect your account standing. We'll always make it right โ€” just reach out first.


Renewal Reminders

Pre-Renewal Notification

We want you to stay in control of your subscription. Before your first renewal charge is processed, we will send you a reminder email at least 3 days in advance to the email address associated with your FlightPal account. This email will confirm your upcoming renewal date and the amount you will be charged (the then-current standard monthly rate as shown at checkout and confirmed in your purchase receipt).

This is your opportunity to cancel if you choose.

If you do not wish to continue, simply cancel before your renewal date using the instructions below. If you take no action, your subscription will renew automatically and the charge will be processed. Once a renewal charge has been processed, it is non-refundable.


Cancellation

Cancelling Your Subscription

Cancelling your subscription stops future charges. It does not trigger a refund for charges that have already been processed. Your access continues through the end of your current paid billing period.

You can cancel at any time by:

  • โœ“Emailing support@tryflightpal.com with "Cancel Subscription" in the subject line
  • โœ“Using the customer portal link sent in your billing confirmation emails

We recommend cancelling at least 24 hours before your next renewal date to ensure it is processed in time. Renewal dates are listed in your subscription confirmation email.


Special Circumstances

Exceptions & Edge Cases

We review all requests on a case-by-case basis and will always try to do right by you. If something unusual happened with your account โ€” for example, a technical error prevented your access, or you were charged twice โ€” please contact us and we'll resolve it promptly.

FlightPal reserves the right to deny refunds where there is evidence of abuse of this policy, including but not limited to purchasing and immediately requesting refunds across multiple accounts.


UK & EU Residents

Additional Rights for UK & EU Users

If you are located in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). This right begins on the date of purchase.

Digital content waiver.

By starting to use FlightPal (for example, by beginning your personalized program), you expressly consent to the immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you lose your statutory right of withdrawal once access to the content has begun. This is standard practice for digital services under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive and Section 36 of the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If you have not yet accessed any FlightPal content, you may exercise your statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days of purchase by emailing support@tryflightpal.com. We will process your withdrawal and refund within 14 days.

Renewal charges are not subject to the statutory cooling-off period, as the right of withdrawal applies to the initial contract only. To avoid renewal charges, cancel your subscription before the renewal date.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.


Legal

Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the United States. For users located in California, this policy is intended to comply with California's Automatic Renewal Law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code ยง 17600 et seq.). For users in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, this policy respects your mandatory statutory consumer rights, which take precedence to the extent they provide greater protection than this policy.

This policy is incorporated into and subject to the FlightPal Terms of Service and Subscription Terms.
