Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. FlightPal LLC ("we," "us") does not sell personal info for monetary gain. However, certain uses of data for cross-context behavioral advertising could be considered "sharing" under California law.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to direct us not to sell or share your personal information with third parties. To submit such a request:
"Sharing" under the CPRA can include disclosing or making available personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly share sensitive flight-anxiety data for such purposes. If you opt out, we will refrain from any "sale" or "sharing" of your personal info beyond what is strictly needed for:
Sensitive personal info (e.g., anxiety assessment) is never sold or shared for advertising. We only process it to provide the requested service.
We will not discriminate against you (e.g., denying service or charging a different price) for exercising your opt-out rights.
We may request limited additional info to verify your identity before processing an opt-out. If an authorized agent submits a request on your behalf, we may require proof of authorization.
